Amityville: The Awakening (2015) is an American horror film and the twelfth installment in the Amityville Horror series. It stars Bella Thorne, Cameron Monaghan (The Giver and Shameless series), Jennifer Jason Leigh (Single White Female), Thomas Mann (Project X), and Kurtwood Smith (That ’70s Show).
Belle (Bella Thorne), her little sister Juliet and her comatose twin brother James move into a new Amityville house with their single mother Joan in to save money to help pay for James’ expensive healthcare. James has a miraculous recovery but, when more strange phenomena begin to occur in the house, Belle begins to suspect her mother isn’t telling her everything about the house and soon realises they just moved into the infamous Amityville house.
