Crimson Peak (2015) is a forthcoming supernatural gothic horror film written and directed by Guillermo del Toro (Pacific Rim). Crimson Peak stars Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland), Tom Hiddleston (Loki in Thor), Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty) and Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy series) and is scheduled for release in the USA on 16 October 2015.
The film has been described by del Toro as a ghost story and a gothic romance set in England and is a haunted house mystery.
