Shortly after a divorce, high school teacher Claire (Jennifer Lopez) has, in her mind, a one-night stand with a young neighbour (Ryan Guzman). The young neighbour has different ideas and, when Clair declares the night was a mistake, the neighbour quickly develops a dangerous obsession.
